Geehy's First Motor Control Dedicated MCU - APM32F035: Empowering User Products with Rapid Iteration

August 03, 2023 APM32F035 Motor Control

As a 32-bit FoC (Field-Oriented Control) Vector Control MCU, APM32F035 comes with a built-in Vector Computer with various dedicated math accelerators, providing comprehensive support for FoC control algorithms. With outstanding high-efficiency computing and processing speed and rich analog and connectivity features, the APM32F035 enhances motor drive performance and reduces operating costs, enabling domestic motor companies to excel in the "IE3 high-efficiency era."

High-Speed Processing and Efficient Computing

Based on the Arm® Cortex®-M0+ core, operating at a frequency of 72MHz, it supports MDU+Cordic and CRC for superior motor processing performance. With 64KB Flash and 10KB SRAM, it fulfills various embedded motor application algorithm requirements. The MCU includes a single-cycle 32-bit hardware multiplier and integrates the M0CP coprocessor, enhancing the Cortex-M0+ running performance. Its hardware comprises shift units, 32-bit/32-bit dividers, multiply-add operations, square roots, trigonometric functions, and SVPWM (Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation). The MCU also features a dedicated motor PWM with complementary and brake modes, linked with M0CP.

Supporting Various Analog and Connectivity Functions

The APM32F035 boasts built-in high-precision analog and digital peripherals to cater to various functions and high-speed connectivity applications. Alongside conventional peripherals like 12-bit ADC (1Msps), SPI, UART (supporting full-duplex communication), I2C, and CAN, it includes two programmable analog comparators (COMP), four general-purpose operational amplifiers (OP-Amp) for diverse motor current sampling applications, and one temperature sensor. The four general-purpose operational amplifiers offer adjustable gain through external resistors or internal preset gain levels, with a conversion rate of up to 10v/us.
