• Rotor angle deviation: At high speed, the rotor position changes significantly between sampling and PWM output, which can reduce control efficiency.

• Difficult temperature control: The relationship between triac conduction angle and heating power is nonlinear, making it difficult for conventional algorithms to balance accuracy and response speed.



To meet these market needs, Geehy has introduced the G32F031 high-speed negative ion hair dryer control reference solution. The solution addresses key challenges in high-speed hair dryer applications and supports operation at 110,000 rpm. It also provides multi-level airflow and temperature control, intelligent constant-temperature regulation, negative ion hair care, and multiple protection functions. • Uses Geehy’s new-generation G32F031 motor control MCU, which can stably control a motor with an 83kHz electrical frequency at a 20kHz carrier frequency.

• Works with the GHP500N05 low-power Intelligent Power Module (IPM), keeping chip temperature rise within the normal range even at a 20kHz carrier frequency.

• Supports angle compensation to improve rotor position estimation accuracy and enhance motor efficiency.

• Uses an incremental variable-gain PI control strategy. It increases integral action at low conduction angles for faster heating and reduces integral action at high conduction angles to suppress overshoot, achieving better temperature control across the full temperature range.

 Intelligent air temperature regulation: A triac and zero-crossing detection circuit dynamically adjust heating wire power to accurately control outlet air temperature for constant-temperature hair care.

 Multiple safety protections: Built-in over-temperature, over-voltage, locked-rotor, phase-loss, and over-current protections help prevent abnormal operating conditions.

• User-friendly interaction: Supports gear memory and speed switch design to meet different usage needs.
