September 22, 2022 TÜV Rheinland

On September 20, TÜV Rheinland (hereinafter referred to as "Rheinland"), an international independent third-party technical testing institution, officially issued ISO26262 functional safety management certification to Geehy Semiconductor (hereinafter referred to as "Geehy").

ISO 26262 is a globally recognized automotive functional safety standard, covering the entire life cycle of automotive products. Its process system certification and product certification are highly recognized in the automotive industry and are also widely recognized by the industry as necessary conditions for chips to be used in safety-related components on mass-produced vehicles. According to Rheinland, Geehy is the first integrated circuit design enterprise in the Greater Bay Area to obtain the ISO26262 certification, which is another milestone for Geehy in the field of automotive electronics after being certified AEC-Q100.

In less than a year since the launch ceremony of the "Functional Safety Process and Product Certification for Automotive Grade MCU Chips" project with Rheinland in Hangzhou in 2021, Geehy has successfully passed the ISO 26262 functional safety management system certification, marking that Geehy has established a complete product development process system that meets the ASIL-D’s highest integrity requirements, and is capable of providing automotive-grade MCUs that meet the functional safety standards for domestic and international customers.

"Security chips are the foundation of automobiles", Geehy is also developing a series of MCUs that meet the ISO 26262 functional safety standard, and the product layout will cover ASIL-B to ASIL-D safety levels, providing customers with more chips and solutions with differentiated advantages, actively promoting the development of functional safety-related work and product development, and contributing its share to the high-quality development of the domestic automotive industry.
